Andrews' process is unique. He layers his drawing paper over his reference image and quickly flips between the two. He meticulously recreates what he sees with fast sketchy lines. After his pen drawing, uses alcohol markers to fill in the lines simplifying the shapes of color he notices creating beautiful illustrations. Andrew is inspired by buildings, old pop culture logos from television shows, and commercials. Some of his favorite pop culture shows include Sailor Moon, Loony Toons, I Love Lucy, Bewitched, Power Puff Girls and Mario.
